Baby Cey and Jester are taking their broadcasting experience beyond the Itch Radio studio after being invited by Love Camden to join the Inverness Street Bloc Party this August Bank Holiday.
The pair are currently taking part in the Itch Radio Future On Air Broadcasting Workshops, courtesy of Young Camden Foundation. Now, they have an opportunity to put their developing skills into practice at a major community event in Camden.

The Future On Air workshops give young people aged 14 to 26 the chance to learn how to plan, produce and present their own radio shows.
Participants use real radio studio equipment and develop practical skills in presenting, recording and editing. They also gain experience speaking on air and creating their own content.
For Baby Cey and Jester, the Inverness Street Bloc Party is another step in that journey. It gives them the chance to experience a live public event while building on the skills they have developed through the workshops.

Love Camden’s Inverness Street Bloc Party takes place on Saturday 29 August 2026 at Inverness Street Market in Camden.
The event runs from 12pm to 7pm and brings together DJs, artists and the local community. Expect feel good disco and house music, dancing and a family friendly atmosphere for all ages.
Best of all, entry is free and no tickets are required.

The Bloc Party takes place on the eve of Carnival and celebrates Camden’s long history of cultural expression and community activism.
The event also recognises the legacy of Claudia Jones, who organised Britain’s first Caribbean Carnival at St Pancras Town Hall.
That history remains an important part of Camden’s cultural identity. Therefore, the day brings together music, community and the stories that have helped shape the borough.

Baby Cey and Jester have already developed their presenting skills through Itch Radio’s broadcasting workshops. This opportunity gives them another environment in which to use those skills.
It also shows how practical creative opportunities can help young people build experience beyond the radio studio.
Through Future On Air, participants are learning by doing. Events such as the Inverness Street Bloc Party allow them to continue that process in front of a wider community.
For Itch Radio CIC, opportunities like this are an important part of supporting young people through radio, music and creative media.
Come down and support Baby Cey and Jester at the Inverness Street Bloc Party this August Bank Holiday.
