How to Use Roundhouse Creative Studios is a free drop-in session for young people aged 13–25 who want to learn how to use the Roundhouse’s professional creative spaces and industry-standard equipment.

The sessions are designed for complete beginners as well as existing Creative Studios members who want a refresher. You’ll learn how to set up the different spaces, use the equipment and troubleshoot common problems so you can work more independently on your own creative projects.

What You’ll Learn

• How to set up and use the Production Room
• How to use the DJ Room
• How to use the Large and Small Rehearsal Rooms
• An introduction to industry-standard equipment and software
• Troubleshooting tips for independent sessions
• How to become a Creative Studios member and book the spaces for your own projects
• Meet other young creatives using the studios

Who Is It For?

The sessions are for young people aged 13–25.

You don’t need any previous experience. Whether you’re thinking about becoming a Creative Studios member or you’re already a member and want to improve your knowledge of the space, these sessions offer a relaxed introduction to the facilities.

How to Join

This is a drop-in session, so you don’t need to book online beforehand.

Sign up at the Roundhouse Creative Studios front desk. Sign-up opens 30 minutes before the session starts.

Places are first come, first served, so arrive by the start time to secure your place.
