Harrow rapper Kibo has built his own world around music, imagination and the places that shaped him. At the centre of it is Kwengletarianism, a creative philosophy that finds something vivid in everyday surroundings.
Kibo has been part of the UK underground for several years, developing his reputation through radio sets, freestyles and a style that pulls together grime, rap, UK garage, jungle, R&B and influences from outside music. His 16-track project Kwengletaria: Ragamyff, released in July 2026, brings those ideas together in one place.

Kibo grew up in HA3 and attended Salvatorian College. Harrow is not simply part of his background. It appears throughout his music and the wider world he has created around it. Tracks on Kwengletaria: Ragamyff include Parrow-on-da-Hill, HAlienz Interlude, Bakerloo Dragon and Red Starz.
In a recent interview with Harrow Online, Kibo explained that the project was a coming-of-age story rooted in the place where he was born and raised. Harrow therefore becomes part of the story itself, rather than simply a location in his biography.
That idea also runs through Kwengletarianism. Kibo uses the name for a way of looking at the world and finding something imaginative in ordinary surroundings. His music turns familiar places, memories and interests into part of a much bigger fictional landscape.
Before the current project, Kibo built much of his reputation through radio sets and freestyles. His appearances on Victory Lap became a key part of that story, giving him space to move between different sounds while feeding off the energy of other MCs and DJs.
One of the best-known moments came during a Victory Lap cypher featuring Dave and Central Cee. Dave praised Kibo during the set, helping bring wider attention to an MC who had already been building a following in the underground.
Kibo has spoken about the difference between grime sets and rap cyphers, with both formats giving him room to react to the beat and the other artists around him. That performance-led background remains central to how he approaches his music.
Kwengletaria: Ragamyff brings together 16 tracks that move through grime, UK garage, jungle, R&B, drill and other influences. The project also draws heavily on the wider culture that has shaped Kibo, including anime, football, gaming, cartoons and internet culture.
The music often treats Harrow as a starting point for something much larger. Places associated with everyday life become settings for stories, while references from different parts of popular culture are folded into the writing and production.
Kibo has described the project as an origin story for his creative world. Rather than presenting Kwengletaria as a finished idea, he uses the music to establish its characters, references and sense of place.

In August 2026, Kibo took the Kwengletaria world to On The Radar in New York. His Chancer performance was followed by an On The Radar Freestyle, putting his set-based MCing back at the centre of the performance.
The appearance links directly to the way Kibo has built his reputation in UK radio and cyphers, while giving him a platform outside the London scene.
That world also extends into film. RAGAMYFF is a short documentary directed by Marco Grey and filmed around Harrow. The film mixes conversation, everyday scenes and behind-the-scenes footage to explore Kibo’s background and the ideas behind Kwengletarianism.

Kibo’s connection with Harrow also comes through in the video for “Chancer”. Directed by J-L.A. Davis, the video follows Kibo through the streets of Harrow and adds collage-style graphics and playful references to the track’s 2000s influences.

Kibo’s music has now travelled well beyond the borough. During 2026 he has performed at Boomtown and Reading & Leeds, appeared at London’s first SXSW showcase and completed a sold-out Kweffy World Champ Tour that included a homecoming show at Trinity Bar in Harrow.
He is also heading back on the road this autumn, with UK headline shows at Rough Trade Bristol on 28 October, Village Underground in London on 30 October and Manchester’s Deaf Institute on 1 November.
For all the wider attention, Harrow remains central to the project. Kibo describes home as a place he can return to and recharge, while Kwengletaria: Ragamyff turns that starting point into something much larger.
